Hi everyone. We haven't posted lately, but we have been busy. Last weekend (3/08/08/) we headed down to Eugene to visit Grandma Joy and Grandpa John. We had a great visit with them and we really enjoyed thier company. Halle loved playing with them and really loved TJ. After spending 2 nights in Eugene we headed out early Sunday morning for the Oregon zoo. It was really cool. Halle saw animals she only knew from books. She tells us her favorite animal was the polar bears. We saw a giraffe, some zebra, black bears, bald eagles, and elephants. She also went into the lorakeet cage and fed the birds some nectar. Lindsay held the cup most of the time. Halle then decided she was brave enough to let a bird land on her arm and drink from the cup. She was very brave, but got very frightened when the bird actually landed on her arm. If you ask her, the bird landed on her shoulder and of course it didn't scare her. Well, we made it home safely and Halle is still talking about the zoo. We can't wait to go again.
